TIP 6: EXPECTATION & VISUALIZATION

Many of us wish to create something different in our lives and actually want something different; however, deep down we anticipate just more of the same. We need to ask ourselves what do we really expect our future to be like? We must root out and dis-cover what our genuine assumptions are about our future. The reason that we need to do this is so that we can begin, on a daily basis, to align our expectations with our long-term goals.

We need to expect each day to be great no matter what we are doing. Whether we are doing housework, walking the dog, shopping for groceries, or at our work place, we are creating a life-force momentum that is either positive or negative. We need to expect to be happy, to feel wonderful, and to have beauty in our daily lives because we must see joy in our present process as well as in our future in order to create the positive momentum. If we expect each day to be difficult or boring it likely will be and it also will be moving us in a negative direction. Therefore, we use mental discipline to expect the best in every day realizing that the future is an adventure that we are creating NOW.

So, if you wish to create a joyous future – begin by creating joy in your life each day. Create your life every day rather than just letting things happen to you. Ramtha tells us, “to let life happen to you is irresponsible. To create your day is your divine right.”

We know that we need to manage our thoughts and emotions on a daily basis in order to be a vibrational match for our dreams. This requires not only mental discipline but emotional discipline since many of us go through our daily lives just reacting to people and situations, unconsciously, rather than responding consciously. If we wish to create positive outcomes we must learn to respond consciously – employing the Law of Attraction.

Always remember that your ability to visualize your dreams actually serves as a catalyst for their manifestation. Visualization techniques and exercises are incredibly powerful. Research demonstrates that some psychologists are now saying that just one hour of visualization is equal to seven hours of physical effort. It is crucial to remember that your subconscious mind can’t distinguish the difference between a real experience and a vividly imagined experience. It also cannot tell the difference between remembering or experiencing an event so, in a special way, you can change the past by remembering it differently (on purpose).

The course I took in the Law of Attraction from Joe Vitale (from the movie THE SECRET) taught us that many of us think of visualization as ‘just’ imagining. Imagining is very important – without it – visualization would be impossible. However, visualization within the context of the Law of Attraction is different from fantasy or plain imagination. It is actually an act of active creation that Joe calls “strategic visualization” because you are also transmitting powerful frequencies which will be reflected back to you due to the Law of Attraction.

Would you like to experience what Joe Vitale teaches regarding strategic visualization? There is no time like NOW!

Find a quiet, safe place where you will not be disturbed – away from noise and bright lights. Choose one thing to focus on that you want most right now. Put this mental image at the center of your mind and dwell on it. Feel it. Jump into the image (I do it the way Bert (Dick Van Dyke) jumps into the sidewalk paintings in the movie Mary Poppins!) And imagine that you already have whatever is depicted in the mental image. If it is a new object, imagine yourself  using it, enjoying all its features and getting the pleasure and feeling of having owned it already. Immerse yourself in it with all your senses for at least one minute before opening your eyes.

What did you notice? What did you experience? Most people say they experienced happiness. Experiencing creation firsthand makes us feel happy and before anything can manifest in our lives it must first be created by our minds as we simultaneously send out powerful frequencies.

We can use strategic visualizing every morning to create our day. It only takes a few minutes to set up our day expecting the best that day has to offer. See everything in your day going smoothly and visualize yourself just as you would like to be – confident, vibrant, happy, extracting the pleasure from even the simplest things and experiences of your day. Visualize and expect the best and create beautiful days and a beautiful future.
