Law of Attraction/Tips 3 & 4
The Law of Attraction shows you how to pay attention. When we pay attention to how to pay attention our every intention can be made manifest in our reality. The Law of Attraction is crucial to our success in manifesting the life that we desire. The life we desire, not the life others desire for us or what we think we should desire based on society or those around us. Success to us may look very different from what another may consider success. The Law of Attraction is considered by many people to be the most important Law of the Universe. We are creating all the time; however, many of us have been creating by default because we did not know the spiritual laws. Understanding the Law of Attraction enables you to deliberately create with Source. When we do not understand the spiritual laws, it is as though we are playing a game with no idea of what the rules are. The Law of Attraction is a very important rule. (Review my pieces Mind As A Garden & Telling A New Story) Most of us find this out the hard way!
How does Esther Hicks and her loving entities (Abraham) describe the Law of Attraction? “The most powerful Law in the Universe – the Law of Attraction – simply says that that which is like unto itself is drawn. You may have noticed that when bad things begin to happen in your life, it seems that everything starts to go wrong. But when you wake up in the morning feeling good, you have a happier day. However, when you begin the day with a fight with someone, you find that the rest of your day is negative in many regards – that is your awareness of the Law of Attraction… An understanding of this Law will put you in a position where you may decide to focus your thoughts only in the direction of what you want to attract into your own experience, while you may decide to take your attention from those thoughts that you do not want to draw into your experience.”
How did you do with tips 1 & 2 last week? Keep practicing and incorporating each tip as we go along and you will see the results down the road, as I have found from experience. Significant mental mastery is involved. “The electromagnetic vibrations you send out every split second of every day are what have brought – and are continuing to bring – everything into your life: big or small, good or bad. Everything!” (Lynn Grabhorn)
TIP 3: THE ALMIGHTY I AM
Anytime that you say I AM you are using what many people say is the Name of God. Therefore, such a powerful statement of identity needs to be chosen carefully and consciously. You are stating to the Universe how you are and who you are. Metaphysical teachers feel that I AM, although one of the shortest sentences in the written word, is actually the most powerful in the universe. Needless to say, getting clear about how you wish to employ this statement in your life is crucial to achieving whatever your idea of success or your ‘best life’ is. Howard Falco (who has written an entire book called I AM) says “fear says, I AM not. Faith says, I AM.” Falco says that “faith is fear’s kryptonite.” It opens up a world of infinite choice and possibility. Jesus said, “I AM the way, the truth, and the light.” Buddha said, ” I AM awake.” Whoopi Goldberg said, “I AM where I AM because I believe in all possibilities.” Every I AM statement gives a message to your ego and the more you believe in your I AM statements, the more deeply your ego will act to create the sensory experience of it in your physical reality. The thought I AM is creation itself.
TIP 4: NEVER SAY I CAN’T
Where there is a will, there is a way. However, you may choose not to . Choice is power. Can’t is dis-empowering. Never say you can’t afford something. In your current reality you may feel that it is a ‘true’ statement, but, it is a statement that expresses lack and lack attracts lack. Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer remind us to respond to negative thoughts as we would to small children who do not know any better. “Simply smile and show them a better way to be. If you recognize a negative thought, simply place a positive thought alongside it. If , for instance, you catch yourself saying, “I don’t have enough money, ” simply say, “I have an abundance of money.” Remember reality always catches up to our affirmed thoughts. Positive thoughts are far more powerful then negative thoughts and can cancel out a great number of negative thoughts.
If you are not sure, yet, as to how you wish to create your I AM statements then I suggest that you follow the recommendation of Howard Falco and accept and integrate these truths as to who you are:
“I AM worthy and have purpose in every moment of life.
I AM the creator of my experience of life.
I AM matter and therefore I matter.
I AM love and I AM loved.
I AM who I decide I AM.
I AM that I AM.”
The statements above are true and very powerful. So, start here and then make sure that whenever you say I AM that it is what you wish to be and see in your life. Become your True Self. True Self is a divine being.
