TIP 45:   SURROUND YOURSELF WITH SUPPORTIVE PEOPLE

People are affected by other people’s thoughts, feelings and energies.  You draw people to you who are on the same wavelength and who therefore reflect your own frequency, vibration and mindset.  When you change, everything and everyone around you must change because we are all connected.  Some people don’t like change, and will judge you or try to sabotage you or hold you back so nothing changes for you or them.  Seek out positive people who have what you desire, and who can encourage your growth, happiness, prosperity and well-being without competition, resentment, judgment or criticism.

TIP 46:   PRACTICE INSTANTANEOUS FORGIVENESS

Holding onto a grudge or holding onto pain only robs you of energy, and perpetuates your pain and suffering.  It imprisons you in the past and prevents you from experiencing true joy in the present and for the future.  Forgiveness sets you free and releases the pain so that trapped energy becomes available to you to create with.  Forgiveness lightens the burden on your heart, your mind, your body, and your soul – the sooner you forgive, the better.  The psychic the Amazing Grace says, “The truth is, others don’t do things to you, they do things for you to serve your evolution.”

Remember that there is always a period of deep ‘inner work’ before change takes place.  At this time in our lives, many of us are changing our thoughts, reevaluating our lives, observing things from a new perspective and gathering the energy needed to make a change.  Honour this in yourself and love yourself for having the courage to take this deep dive.  Also remember that the greater the outer changes you wish to make, the greater the inner changes that must be made first.  As you continue to learn and practice self-love and self-acceptance, letting go of the desire for perfection & replacing it with the quest for ‘wholeness’, you make it possible for yourself to move in new directions.  Follow your inner guidance, listen to your angels & guides, and make choices that bring you joy.

What inner resource or strength could you develop that would help you to move up the next rung on the ladder of ascension?  Forgiveness?  Or some other quality?  Please answer this in detail in your journal.  Is there a step, no matter how small, that you could take this week to begin to express that inner resource more fully?  Write this down in your journal.

If you are currently asking yourself what is my life’s work and yet are very confused about this – then look closely at yourself and answer in your journal these questions, What do I want to do that I love to do?  What attracts me?  What excites me?  What are the issues that I am currently working on in my life?  What can I truly get enthusiastic about doing?  Remember that allowing yourself time to daydream and fantasize about your life is very important.  How can we create that which we cannot imagine?  Therefore, do not feel that you are in any way ‘wasting time’ when you are visualizing your dreams because as you progress and get clearer and more specific about what you wish to create – your Higher Self gets to work on it – so as you dream you are also creating your new reality.

As we continue to peel away the layers of the onion, so to speak, we dis-cover that our Creator loves us unconditionally.  Emmanuel says:

“No God of loving compassion

would ever inflict upon anyone,

be it individual, group or community,

any illness at all,

not even the common cold.

 

If you believe

that you are deserving of punishment

you need to question

what you feel is amiss in your life.

Is there a sense of guilt?

Where you align yourself with any posture

that hints you are deserving of God’s punishment

then that is the issue at hand.

If there is something that you do not want in your life, such as a dis-ease,  then take your attention away from it and place your attention on that which you do want.  Surrounding yourself with positive and supportive people allows you to move up the vibrational scale rather than be pulled down by the negativity of others around you.  Give up wanting to change the vibration of others who do not wish to change and focus on changing yourself surrounded by people who are also evolving.  It is not the job of other people to align their vibration to yours but rather it is your work to align your vibration with who you really are.  Do not search for love in all the wrong places, wrong friends and circumstances but rather find it in Source/Creator energy within.  When you are struggling to move up the emotional scale remember that you likely cannot go, at this stage of your evolution, from anger to joy in one jump; however, maybe you can reach for what Esther Hicks calls that “slightly better feeling thought” and train yourself to do this on a regular basis.  Abraham (channeled by Esther Hicks) always reminds us that “if you’re not letting yourself vibrate in alignment with who-you-really-are, you’re just not going to feel good.

Forgiveness of ourselves and others is a crucial part of our process.  In order to be fully alive we need to be dead to the past.  Our process includes learning to turn painful events and memories into growth experiences and blessings.  Alchemy.  Do not give your power away to others through your unforgiveness.  You need not condone  the actions/abuse in order to forgive.  You may very well be ‘justified’ in holding onto your lack of forgiveness, but, who is this hurting?  The one you don’t forgive?  Or yourself?  Please read or re-read my blog called “Forgiveness is Freedom.”  (September 11, 2013)  You will find a helpful exercise in it.

As Kara, of the Ascension Notes, writes: “Many state “love the pain and shadows.”  Yes, and then ask how you want to feel.  If you hold on to the pain and shadows because they are what you know and you like being their victim, you will continue to create your life from those.  By loving (accepting and being responsible for all you have created) and then releasing and choosing a different way of being, you evolve.  Realize you are worthy of a different way of living.  Honour Who You are.  Be your Authentic Self.  This means letting go of the old limitations and being fearless in who you are without excuses or the fear of being alone.”

I would counsel you to remind yourself that this journey is not linear.  We are multisensory and multidimensional divine beings dis-covering our divinity.  Be kind, gentle and patient with yourself as your wings unfold and as you work your way up the ladder of ascension.

    What is it about us humans that makes us feel we don’t deserve love or health, or all the good in life?
    I know we all are born feeling that we do deserve this. What changes us…?
    I think we all need to re-learn and re-programme ourselves to know that we all are deserving even entitled to feeling good.
