Law of Attraction/Tips 57 & 58
“Never give up for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.” Harriet Beecher Stowe
“Believe at least six impossible things before breakfast.” Alice in Wonderland
If you wish to project magnetic vitality, then it is essential that you take an active interest in every present experience. This present moment creates the momentum of your life and it is the portal to the energetic realm. Therefore, be the person you wish to become NOW! How would you feel if all of your dreams came true? (Please answer this in your journal) Would you be more confident? More playful? More loving? More joyful? Do not wait for a future event to make you happy. Own the energy of happiness, now, in the present moment and become a magnet to your dreams. Take energetic control of the present moment and be the person that you wish to become.
TIP 57: MAGNETIC PERSONALITY
Think of yourself as a magnet that is drawing everything to you. You are a powerfully magnetic being, so allow yourself to be irresistibly attractive to all that you desire.
TIP 58: BE PATIENT, PERSISTENT & DETERMINED
Never give up on your dreams and desires, and never give in to disappointment or defeat. Keep taking the next step toward your goal, and if what you are doing is not working, find another way. Where there is a will, there is a way, so commit your will to manifesting what you truly desire, and allow yourself to patiently co-operate and co-create with the Universe. Have unwavering faith and commitment, and don’t let the shadow of doubt cloud your mind or obscure your vision.
Energy is magnetic. One law of energy is that energy of a certain vibration has a tendency to attract energy of a similar vibration. Because thoughts and feelings have their own magnetic energy they attract energy of a similar nature. We have all seen this principle at work when we seemingly ‘accidentally’ run into someone we have just been thinking about. Or, we just ‘happen’ to pick up a book which contains exactly the information we need at that particular moment.
Form follows thought and energy follows intention. When we create something we first have an idea or inspiration (letting spirit in). This idea is like a blueprint and creates an image of the form, which then magnetizes and guides the physical energy to flow into that form and eventually it will manifest on the physical plane. This same principle can be seen operating even when we do not take direct physical action. For example, if we constantly think of ourselves as ill, then we eventually become ill – manifesting dis-ease. If we think we are glowing with health, we radiate vitality. This is the Law of Attraction. Whatever you put out into the Universe will be reflected back to you. Jesus told us this. “As you sow, so shall you reap.”
When we understand the Law of Attraction we understand, from a practical perspective, that we are always attracting into our lives whatever we think about and believe most strongly. “To better understand the Law of Attraction, see yourself as a magnet attracting unto you the essence of that which you are thinking and feeling. And so, if you are feeling fat, you cannot attract thin. If you are feeling poor, you cannot attract prosperity, and so on. It defies Law.” (LAW OF ATTRACTION, Abraham, channeled by Esther Hicks)
However, the process of transformational change does not occur on the superficial levels through merely ‘positive thinking’. We find that it involves a deep exploration of our most basic attitudes toward life and then changing them in accordance with our True Selves. This process involves the willingness and commitment to be completely honest with ourselves. To dis-cover the ways in which we have ‘put the brakes’ on our own progress and become self-sabotaging or an obstacle on our own path due to fears and negativity. The gold in our lives is in those areas we have kept hidden from ourselves and others. In Jungian therapy this is called our “shadow” side and when we let the light into these areas we allow the shadow part of ourselves to speak and then it grows up! Sometimes wrestling with the shadow side can be quite pain-full. This is part of the dark night of the soul and you will not remain in this dark place once you have let it speak, heard and honoured it and integrated it through making it your greatest ally. However, be careful not to ‘pitch camp’ here. Some people can become addicted to pain and suffering because it can lead to so much spiritual growth. Remind yourself that the joy you feel when you have fully integrated your shadow self and retrieved the soul parts ‘split off’ during trauma will increase your spiritual growth as much or more. Honour and respect the process and seek professional help when necessary.
Sometimes during spiritual growth there is, as the Rune, Othila, indicates a time of “separating paths” when “old skins must be shed, outmoded relationships discarded.” This is a part of the Cycle of Initiation and receiving this Rune indicates a time of peeling away. Othila is a Rune of “radical severance”. When a person receives this Rune, the benefits that accrue to the individual are derived from something ‘given up’ rather than ‘acquired.’ Spiritual warriors receiving this Rune are advised, “we do without doing and everything gets done.” In our predominant North American culture, doing without doing is quite challenging for most of us because we are taught to be ‘busy’ doing something non-stop. However, when we receive this guidance from an ancient Oracle, Ralph Blume tells us that we are called upon to “abandon… some aspect of our behavior, a part of our cultural Inheritance.” Whatever the separation called for – it is to become more truly who you are. Total honesty is required.

I know nothing about Runes but the advice sounds just like the Book of Tao’s, “The wise man does nothing, yet nothing remains undone. The foolish man is always doing, yet much remains undone.” Thanks!

too bad so many of us have internalized “nothing gold can stay”, maybe Robert Frost should have consulted more goddesses 😉 This is a great complement to the last week’s tips
