“Footprints lead to the shore of the sea!
Beyond that point,
no trace remains.” (Rumi)
“When a path opens before us that leads we know not where, don’t be afraid to follow it. Our lives are meant to be mysterious journeys, unfolding one step at a time. Often we follow a path worn smooth by the many and in so doing we lose our authenticity, our own unique expression. Do not be afraid to lose your way. Out of chaos, clarity will eventually arise. Out of not knowing, something new and unknown will ultimately come. Do not order things too swiftly. Wait and the miracle will appear.” (Ann Mortifee)
I am on a mysterious journey as I write this. Knowing that life is a stretch.
Of course all life is a mysterious journey. If it wasn’t, if we knew absolutely everything that was going to happen – we would not need to live our lives! That is something I sometimes have to remind my clients when the Angels give me some of their future but not all of it. As an Angel reader – I am given only what my client is allowed to know at the time of the reading. Sometimes that is months or a year or two ahead and other times it is well into the future; however, it is always information that is given to me precisely because it is in Divine Timing. As a part of the reading – the Angels guide the client toward choices to make for their highest good – which usually involves lifestyle choices and a great deal of spiritual direction. Due to Free Will, the client may or may not follow the guidance and if they do not – the future will be a different future. Unless a Divine Decree or Divine Intervention takes precedence. The Mystery ultimately belongs to Source!
Have you fallen in love with the Mystery? If so then you likely realize that life unfolds one step at a time. Yes, we get glimpses and information about our futures – sometimes even whole scenes; however, more often than not – like Hansel and Gretel we follow the breadcrumbs that lead us home to ourselves. Our True Selves.
Since in Reality there is no past and no future we dwell, eternally, in the beautiful and mysterious unfolding of the Now. Each and every moment holds the promise of our becoming.
Our past is very much part of our becoming. When we hear the whistle of a train or the howl of a wolf does our heart not fill with an extraordinary nostalgia that is difficult to put into words? While reminding us of our past our energetic awareness is opened up simultaneously bringing into our consciousness the vastness of the future.
Yet, we must live today in the now and the Now. Surrounded by past, present and future and by the many mysterious possibilities awaiting our Free Will choices. Not making a decision is a decision and if we wait for all our circumstances to align in exactly the way we wish them to – we may wait endlessly. We came here to create the life we desire and therefore we cannot base our actions on the actions of other people.
Being 5D we chase nothing. Knowing that nothing likes to be chased. Knowing that what we chase moves further away. We don’t force. We allow. Every moment is a doorway to the future. However, we are grounded in the present. Being kind and compassionate to everyone – we draw toward us, due to the Law of Attraction, others like us.
We recognize on this mysterious journey that every obstacle or setback or disappointment is actually a crucial stepping-stone along the path toward fulfillment and enlightenment.
We who are now 5D recognize everyone and everything as a teaching. We remain eternal students. Learning not just from humans but also from animals, insects, birds and plants. Each of these creatures (some of them our totems) have special gifts and qualities we can learn from. As Ann Mortifee states: “A wise person can reveal a truth that will serve you. A foolish person can show you the pitfalls you must avoid. There is wisdom and folly everywhere. Everything and everyone is a teaching.” (In Love with the Mystery)
Feeling stuck? One small change or movement in a new direction can alter everything. Meditate and listen to the small voice within. What are you yearning to do? Leave a relationship? Change your work or job? Begin or deepen a spiritual practice? Alter your diet? Increase or change the way you exercise? Take a class or study something new? Do you need to add something to your life or gently let something or someone go?
I have let Angel Cottage go. This is my new movement. I was surprised at how attached I had become after 7 years! But also just as surprised at how quickly I am fine with it. I feel very, very grateful to have been surrounded by trees, plants, birds and a variety of creatures and to have had such a lovely quiet and pretty place to grow in. The next step is a mystery. However, the Angels indicate that I will be very happy and I have no doubts at all about that. One of my psychic mentors told me many years ago now, “when you work for Spirit, Spirit takes care of you.” Anyway, I love a good mystery.
My favourite mystery writer as a kid was Agatha Christie. My mother always had her books around with all her other reading. Agatha Christie loved writing mysteries and loved living one: “That one doesn’t know – which, of course, makes life exciting. I have always thought life exciting and I still do… to be part of something one doesn’t in the least understand is, I think, one of the most intriguing things about life… I like living, I have sometimes been wildly despairing, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing.” (Agatha Christie: An Autobiography)
There is always such power in letting things go. Have the courage to surrender and to let go of all your limiting beliefs. Love your self and you will love everyone else as we are One. Love life. Love the mystery.
