Upheaval
“The passion of life flows through me continually.” John Holland
“When you have passion, intuition has no boundaries.” John Holland
Last week I wrote about Nancy Levin’s ten steps toward a new life. One of Nancy’s comments was that we might wish to rock our foundation before it rocks us; however, some of you, maybe most of you – if you are like me – will find yourself in a place of upheaval before you quite know what is happening! Hence this blog. Be assured that upheaval is a normal part of the transformation process. Sometimes it takes nothing short of a total upheaval to change our beliefs, our priorities, our behaviours and the way we relate to others.
When great changes are on the horizon we often find ourselves travelling through changing conditions, circumstances, and uncertain waters. This is likely to result in an unanticipated change in direction as we are immersed in exploration and discovery. Do not worry or become alarmed if you feel carried away by the rivers and currents of life despite your best navigation skills. Looking back you will be amazed to find out that detours are also a part of the journey! Thinking you are off course – you are, nevertheless, on your way. Not only can detours help you on your journey, but they sometimes turn out to have been necessary for your success – and sometimes even for your survival.
Navigating the river of life takes all our wisdom and requires great patience and timing. We can only go as quickly as the winds will take us. It takes discipline and balance. If we don’t already have these qualities we develop them. If we have them we refine them. Either way, it is a win-win situation for the spiritual warrior.
Sometimes as we approach upheaval or at the actual time of upheaval a client of mine will receive the Rune Hagalaz. This Rune is one of elemental disruption of events that seem totally beyond the client’s control. Ironically, this Rune has only an upright position and yet always operates through reversal. When a client receives this Rune – expect disruption for it is the “Great Awakener.” The keywords associated with Hagalaz are disruption, elemental power and hail. The form that the ‘awakening’ takes may vary. “Perhaps you will experience a gradual feeling of coming to your senses, as though you are emerging from a deep sleep. Then again, the onset of power may be such as to rip away the fabric of what you previously knew as your reality, your security, your understanding of yourself, your work, your relationships or beliefs.” (THE BOOK OF RUNES, Ralph H. Blum)
And how does this disruption or upheaval occur? It takes any number of forms: a relationship fails/ends, plans go awry, a source of supply or resources dries up. Whether you rocked your own foundation or whether it rocked you – you are not without power and the inner strength you have ‘banked’ up till this point in your life will provide you support and guidance at a time when everything that you have taken for granted is now being challenged. The more severe the upheaval is in your life, “the more significant and timely the requirements for your growth. The universe and your own soul are demanding that you do, indeed, grow.”
My guides tell me that one or more of you reading this need to rekindle your passion for life and that others of you are overlooking your obligation to develop a special talent, ability or gift that you are now in danger of losing. You are advised to begin to develop it now. The Angels also say that if you have been putting off seeking the wisdom and/or guidance of a healer or a teacher now is the time to stop doing so.
Upheaval clears the way for something new and even better to be created.
Love & Light, Monica

I like it when you tell us what your guides see for some of us. Thanks!
